About programs and courses at TRUEMAX:
Q1: I have not yet taken any 3D courses/programs and have no experience in 3D, but I am creative and want to start my career at TRUEMAX.
A: Start with 3D Fundamentals - and find out whether 3D is the right career for you. If it is, then continue with our 3D Digital Artist / 3D Game Artist program.
Q2: I have not taken any 3D courses/programs, but have experience in 3D.
A: Send us your portfolio. If we think that you have sufficient talent we will ask you to take a 4-hour practical test in Maya or 3ds max. If you pass the test you can begin the 3D Digital Artist / 3D Game Artist program immediately.
Q3: I have learned 3D graphics at other schools, colleges or universities, and I want to become a professional artist.
A: Send us your portfolio. If we think that you have sufficient talent we will ask you to take a 4-hour practical test in Maya or 3ds max. If you pass the test you can begin the 3D Digital Artist / 3D Game Artist program immediately.
Q4: I want to become a 3D Game Artist.
A: We recommend that you enrol in the 3D Digital Artist / 3D Game Artist program. This program provides you with the skills you need to become a professional 3D artist or 3D game artist.
Q5: I am already working as a professional in the graphics field and want to learn to use 3D in my daily work to improve my credentials for further career choices.
A: It depends on the software you want to use, but we suggest 3D Fundamentals or 3D Fundamentals part-time courses or Master Classes. Contact us for more information.
Q6: I have an educational background in architecture and want to illustrate buildings in 3D.
A: We suggest 3D Fundamentals or 3D Fundamentals part-time courses in 3ds max.
Q7: I am/will be a 3D artist but I want to learn/improve my drawing skills.
A: We recommend Drawing Class at TRUEMAX.
Q8: I am under 18 years old. What are my options?
A: 3D Junior Workshop I and II and then you can continue with 3D Junior Fundamentals part-time.

Q9: I want to buy a computer for homework, which computer does TRUEMAX suggest?

TRUEMAX academy uses standard PC's with Intel Pentium 4 CPU, for both 3D Fundamental classes and the higher-level 3D Digital Artist/3D Game Artist classes.
For higher-level, HP desktop and Workstation - with minimum 2.8 GHz HT and 1Gb RAM with FireGL T2/Z1 and FireGL V3100 PCIE graphics adapter.
If you want to buy a 'homework' PC - that can run from the 3D Fundamental term to the last term in our three year 3D Digital Artist/3D Game Artist program - we do recommend HP Workstations for many reasons.
We have made a test before investing in HP Workstations and this is our conclusion:

Easy to upgrade: passed
Easy to open: passed
Quality and design: passed
Performance: passed
Software compatibly test: passed

On financing:
Q10: Are there any grants or scholarships available?
A: Unfortunately, no. However, Danish students are encouraged to check the “Legathåndbogen” which can be borrowed from the public library.
Q11: How do students afford an education at TRUEMAX?
A: Some students save money beforehand. Others work at a part-time job while they study at TRUEMAX. Some students receive money from their parents for their education. And a few students have their education paid for directly by the municipality or their union.
